Somewhere out t   here, beneath the pale moonlight,

Some    one’s thinking of   me and lov – ing       me      to – ni       ght.

Somewhere out t   here, someone’s saying a prayer

That we’ll find one an – oth – er in that big somewh     ere     out there.

And even though I know how very far apart we are,

It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star.
