Don’t know      why there’s no sun up in the sky –

Stormy weathe  r.

Since my man and I a     in’t together,

Keeps rainin’ all the time.

Life is bare,   gloom and mis’ry ev’rywhere –

Stormy weather.

Just can’t get my poor      self together;

I’m weary all the time.

When he went away, the blues walked in and met m    e;

If he stays away, old rockin’ chair will get     me.

All I do is pray the Lord above will let me

Walk in the sun once more.
