Theres A Better Place

There’s a better place up there in heaven

There’s a better place waiting for me

There’s a better place because of Jesus

He’s the one who went and paid the price for me

I’ve never been a rich man and probably never will

As long as I live in this world I’ll be a poor man still

I have no earthly treasures no silver or no gold

Up in heaven there’s something better there I’ll find rest for my soul

There’s a better place up there in heaven

There’s a better place waiting for me

There’s a better place because of Jesus

I once thought I was hopeless  the loser that was me

I didn’t believe in heaven nor that Jesus died for me

Until that day I found out that Jesus is the key

Then I asked the Lord to save my soul  now there is a place for me
